What are the major elements for creating Mandala?

If you are a frequent visitor to my blog ‘Murtaza Hashwani Blogs’ then you will be well aware of what Mandala Art is. But just for reminder's sake, I will explain it to you once again. Sanskrit's word for "circle" is Mandala. A circle is ideal since it has no start or finish. It can stand in for God, the entire being, the universe, the entire planet, or a single person. It is a box that contains everything within of it.

Because a wheel revolves, has motion, and can drive us ahead, I now conceive of mandalas as wheels rather than just circles after working with them for fifteen years.


Major elements of Mandala

A mandala is made up of five main elements: symmetry, geometry, color, number, and intention. Mandalas may be used to alter and energize areas in which they are placed as well as the lives of individuals who observe them by being cognizant of these qualities and intentionally integrating them.


1: SYMMETRY

Research has found that symmetry fosters emotions of harmony, balance, and calm. The main element of a mandala, and the core of any mandala I create, is usually symmetry.


2: GEOMETRY 

I always start my mandalas with a circle. Perfectionism is embodied in its form. It has served as a metaphor for a variety of concepts throughout history, including time passing, God, and the self.

For each mandala, additional geometric signs, figures, and iconography can be employed to deepen its significance. Every symbol has a significance or meanings, so when I add them to a mandala, especially if it will be used for meditation or to promote transformation, I pay great attention to the symbols I choose.


3: COLOR

Each hue has an own significance or connotation. Color and color combinations may be used to more swiftly bring about healing, wealth, change, and more, much more if I keep this knowledge in mind when I make a mandala.


4: NUMBER

Numerology, or the study of numbers, is crucial to a mandala's empowerment. Like colors, numbers too have a variety of connotations and traits attached to them. You may more thoroughly incorporate the qualities of a certain number into your life by selecting a mandala that resonates with that number.

As an illustration, if you wish to boost your intuition, you might choose to work with a purple or violet mandala with seven radiations (spokes), as both purple and the number seven are said to enhance intuition.


5: INTENT 

You can decide to activate the mandala you choose or commission for a certain result by clearly stating your goal to employ it with it. Your selected mandala will then serve as a constant reminder of your aim as well as a tool to assist you in realizing it.
